New beer cooler allows for bottle-chilling

A built-in electronic controller on J&E Hall’s new Beer Cooler recognises the increasing popularity of bottled drinks in pubs and clubs. The controller will chill beer and other drinks down to 4ºC - allowing bottles to be chilled, a feature that sets it apart in the drinks-chilling market. Most other commercial beer and wine units will chill only to 10ºC, a temperature that does not chill bottled drinks efficiently.

The J&E Hall Beer Cooler system offers an economic and reliable solution for cooling wines and beers in commercial beer cellars. Being able to chill down to 4ºC also prolongs the shelf-life of fruit, vegetables, flowers and other items needing temperature-control.

The Beer Cooler indoor units, with their tried-and-tested R407c air-conditioning condensing units, are manufactured in stainless steel for easy cleaning and can be wall- or ceiling-mounted to maximise space. For easy maintenance, coils are manufactured with 6 fin-per-inch brewery specification. Users can preset the temperature between 4ºC and 23ºC, with a full electronic LED display fitted as standard.

A cool-storage split system, stainless-steel indoor cooler, electronic temperature  controller, full LED display and off-cycle defrost all come as standard. A fan-speed controller, condensing unit wall brackets and a condensate pump are optional.

Marketing Director Tony [name withheld] said: “Our research has always tried to highlight industry trends and I’m pleased to say that this product meets a growing need in the drinks industry. It’s also an extremely versatile product, in that it can be used across several industries.”
